7-zip: Extracting documents

If you see the below error message it will be because you have not Extracted the documents from a zipped folder.

I will save the zipped folder to my desktop to be able to find it easier to find.

You will follow almost the same process as *password protecting the folder* in my other article.

First you want to right click the folder and select "Show more options".

From here, select 7-zip and Extract Files as seen below;

It will then appear with this window from 7-zip

Enter the password in the section on the right, this will should have been provided to you.

Double check the location at the top of this screen, if you would like to extract it to a different location you can click the "..." button in the top right to select a new location.

Once you've entered the password and pressed OK the folder will appear in the location you chose to extract it without a zipped icon and the files within should be fine to open.
